Welcome to American Government!  I am very excited to meet you in person on Tuesday!  You can get started on your work for our class if you like (it’s a hybrid class, so half of our work is in class, and half you’ll do outside of class each week) by exploring our class site, which is available here:  https://kccpol59.commons.gc.cuny.edu  We won’t spend much time on Brightspace, for reasons I’ll explain in class on Tuesday.  The site has everything you will need to be successful- our syllabus and course outline, a to-do list for each week, links to a calendar to add to your phone, and weekly announcements from me.  

You will need to set up an account on the CUNY Academic Commons if you don’t already have one.  If you have a CUNY email address, you should have received an invitation from me already; if you don’t, please go register for an account here (there’s instructions in the “Technical tools & Assistance” drawer on our site’s homepage, https://kccpol59.commons.gc.cuny.edu/ that can walk you through it).
